Nordvest UK is proud to supply high-performance triple glazed timber windows and doors for Erigo Passivhaus’s North Newton development in Wiltshire. Designed and built to rigorous Passivhaus and Passivhaus Plus standards, the project demanded exceptional thermal performance, airtightness and long-term durability. The bespoke engineered timber window package achieved U-values below 0.8 W/m²K, incorporating advanced triple glazing, warm edge spacer technology and insulated timber frames to help minimise heat loss and maximise occupant comfort throughout the year.
The completed homes demonstrate the benefits of combining certified Passivhaus construction with premium Scandinavian style timber windows and doors. Airtightness testing confirmed outstanding performance, with the development achieving an air permeability result of 0.27 m³/(h·m²) @ 50Pa, significantly exceeding typical UK building standards and supporting the ultra-low-energy credentials of the homes.
