Side Hung Casement Windows

Nordvest traditional side hung casement windows are very popular with renovators as they are especially suited for the traditional cottage look. Nordvest side hung casement windows can be supplied with child restrictor, espagnolette locking and friction stay enabling the sash to be held in the open position.

The friction stay does away with the need to fit any unsightly casement stays.

These can be supplied as a single or multiple sash window or with a combination of open / fixed.

On tall windows and windows located high up or behind worktops the handle can be positioned off centre and nearer the bottom to allow easier access.
