About the project

Clients were converting an old primary school in the Highlands of Scotland and were keen to use a timber window with darker frames. Nordvest were chosen as preferred window supplier for double glazed units fully finished to match the burnt timber effect cladding.

This project utilised Nordvest Top Swing Fully Reversible, Side Hung and Fixed FK53 windows along with Double Outward Opening Balcony Doors featuring a friction stay, the friction stay allows the master door leaf to be braked or stayed at any point from closed to 90 degree open, ideal for keeping the door leaf in your chosen position when open in breezy conditions.

Fantastic transformation of an older unused building to a modern stylish home.
